The ManageMyCreditCard web site is optimized for use with 4.x or higher browser versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator. Additionally, we suggest that you view our site with 16-bit (High Color) color at 800 x 600 resolution. Please note that variant settings or device types may effect presentation.
To obtain one of the browser versions mentioned above, please refer directly to Microsoft Corporation or Netscape Corporation. The use of alternative browsers or BETA versions may have unpredictable results.
Disclaimers and Legal Notices Governing the Use of This Web Site
The following rules and regulations ("Agreement") are provided by Fifth Third Bank and its affiliates (collectively called "Fifth Third Bank") to govern the use of www.managemycreditcard.com (the "Site"), a Fifth Third Bank Internet address on the World Wide Web, by all visitors (collectively called "Users").
Services available via the Site are also governed by any other separate agreement(s) Users may have with Fifth Third Bank, including but not limited to, the Rules and Regulations of the Bank, any loan agreements, and all amendments thereto.
By accessing the Site, Users agree to be bound by the terms and conditions as hereafter set forth and as amended by Fifth Third Bank from time to time.
Fifth Third Bank is committed to preserving the integrity of our customer account relationships. Accordingly, our online applications and services utilize advanced Internet security technology.
Internet Access User Agreement
This ("Agreement") is provided by Fifth Third Bank to govern the use of ManageMyCreditCard.com services. Services provided by ManageMyCreditCard.com are additionally governed by any other separate agreement(s) you may have with Fifth Third Bank or any of its affiliates or subsidiaries, including but not limited to, the Rules and Regulations of the Bank, any loan agreements, and any amendments or changes made to this Agreement.
By using ManageMyCreditCard.com, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement.
The following definitions apply to the terms contained in this Agreement:
"Business Day" is defined as Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET., excluding the Federal Holidays or as otherwise posted in the Banking Centers.
"You" and "Your" shall mean the person, persons or entities in whose name the account is carried on the books of Fifth Third Bank and shall include the masculine, feminine, and neuter genders and the plural as well as the singular wherever the context so permits.
"Us" "Our" and "We" shall mean Fifth Third Bank and all of its affiliates and subsidiaries.
ManageMyCreditCard.com allows Fifth Third Bank customers to access information for and initiate transactions from their Fifth Third Bank accounts. Such services include but are not limited to the following:
By directing Fifth Third to initiate a payment, you authorize Fifth Third Bank to withdraw from the designated account the amount of funds required to complete the assigned transaction. You regard requests for new account services, instructions to change existing account information or services, and other communication received via ManageMyCreditCard.com as legal endorsements. As such, all correspondence initiated via Fifth Third Internet Banking shall command the legal authority of a written request authorized by your signature.
You may contact the Card Center by calling 1-877-881-6018. Customer Service Professionals are available to assist you Monday through Friday 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM CT and Saturday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM CT.
Customer Service Professionals may provide assistance only within the guidelines set forth by Fifth Third Bank and as required by law. Customer Service Professionals are not authorized to negotiate any of the terms of this agreement.
The same encryption process used to secure your account information secures messages sent via ManageMyCreditCard.com. The Contact Us/Customer Care feature provided by ManageMyCreditCard.com may be used to transmit confidential account information to Fifth Third Bank.
Fifth Third Bank is responsible for making reasonable efforts to fulfill only those account requests actually received via ManageMyCreditCard.com. Fifth Third Bank may not be held accountable for any loss resulting from the delay or failure to transmit a message via ManageMyCreditCard.com from user error, malfunction of equipment, natural impediments, and/or inaccurate or incomplete information.
Electronic Funds Transfer Errors
(This section applies to personal accounts only.)
Fifth Third Bank must hear from you within sixty (60) days after the FIRST statement on which the problem appeared was sent to you. Please tell us your name and account number, describe the error or the transfer about which you are unsure and explain why you believe there is an error, and tell us the dollar amount of the suspected error. If you tell us orally, we may require that you send us your complaint or questions in writing within ten (10) business days.
Fifth Third Bank will tell you the result of our investigation within ten (10) business days after we hear from you and will correct any error promptly. If we need more time, however, we may take up to forty-five (45) days to investigate your complaint or questions. If we decide to do so, we will provisionally credit your account within ten (10) business days for the amount you think is in error, so that you will have the use of the money during the time it takes us to complete our investigation.
If Fifth Third Bank asks you to state your complaint or question in writing and we do not receive it within ten (10) days, we may not provisionally credit your account. If we decide that there was no error, Fifth Third Bank will send you a written explanation within three (3) business days after we finish its investigation. You may ask for copies of the documents that were used in the investigation.
Customer Liability for Unauthorized Transfers
(This section applies to personal accounts only.)
If you do not tell us within two (2) business days after you learn of the loss or theft of your password and we can prove that some of the loss may have been prevented had we been informed of the loss, you can lose as much as $500.00.
Fifth Third Bank's Liability for Failure to Make Transfers/Bill Payments
If Fifth Third Bank does not complete a transfer to or from your account on time or in the correct amount according to the account agreement with you (including, but not limited to, all rules and regulations governing your account), we will be liable for all losses not to exceed the amount of the transfer. However, there are exceptions. Fifth Third Bank will not be liable for, including but not limited to, the following:
Important Message on Protecting Your Information
In light of a new form of identity theft fraud activity called "phishing" or "webspoofing," Fifth Third Bank is reminding its customers to be constantly vigilant about protecting personal and financial information. Sensitive information, including Social Security number, Personal Identification numbers (PINs) and account numbers, should not be shared unless the consumer has verified the legitimacy of the entity receiving the information.
"Phishing" or "webspoofing" involves fraudulent emails sent to consumers asking them to link to a fraudulent website and enter personal financial information. The fraudulent website is designed to look like a legitimate website, but is not.
The bank advises customers to access the Card Center's website by logging onto www.manangemycreditcard.com directly and not via links from other sites or within email messages. Fifth Third Bank does not contact customers via email, phone or mail to request or verify security information about passwords or PINs. Customers who contact the bank in person will not be asked to share passwords and PINs, but associates will ask for information to verify identities and ensure customer privacy and protection.
Customers who suspect they have been victims of fraud or have questions are encouraged to contact the Card Center's Fraud Prevention department at 1-877-881-6018 during the hours of 7 AM - 8 PM CT Monday through Friday and 8 AM - 12 PM CT Saturday.
